From the park it is a short drive to the ancient market town of Kendal, the 'gateway to the Lakes'. The town provides a thriving shopping centre and access to the creative cultural hub for South Lakeland, Arnside, Silverdale, Milnthorpe, Carnforth, Morecambe, Kirkby Longsdale and Lancaster are all also in easy reach of Beetham, providing everything from lively markets, festivals, concerts, sporting facilities and welcoming worshiping communities. There is a wide variety of friendly pubs and great restaurants in the area, as well as fantastic facilities for all ages to enjoy.
Only 10 minutes from Junction 35 of the M6 it is within an hour of all of population centres of Lancashire and most of Manchester, West Yorkshire and Liverpool.
